Debbie F Really liked it. It's funny and gory. A good change of pace in slasher movies 👍👍👍👍👍 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/05/24 Full Review Audience Member This is the funniest slasher film of all time! So many memorable one-liners too! College kids, we got your friend! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/03/24 Full Review Ari V Good/timely message, a lot of laughs all the way through, fun acting - can't go wrong. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Courtney K this movie is super fun & creative; a really fun watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review Samuel B Amazing horror comedy with such likeable leads. I recommend this movie to everyone I meet. Well directed looks great and the little cgi they did use looks just as good as big budget movies. Can't say enough good things about this movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review David W At its heart a culture clash, miscommunication movie but it takes that trope and elevates it to Shakespearean quality. Inventive direction, fiercely funny and witty script, beautifully acted by the two leads and supporting cast, great sight gags, slapstick gore, endlessly quotatable one liners and quite possibly, with the exception of Evil Dead 2, the greatest horror comedy ever made. Out of what now must be the 1000's of supposed comedies that I have seen over the years, let alone horror comedies, this is one of the very few that has made me cry with laughter. Pretty much genre perfection. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/13/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com This movie is certifiably insane, that's a given, but it's also extremely witty, has far more intelligence than you might originally expect and has a grand time exploding clichés and playing with an audience's expectations. Rated: 3.5/4 Jan 27, 2012 Full Review Ben Sachs Chicago Reader Here's something you don't see every day: a genial, politically correct splatter comedy. Jan 4, 2012 Full Review Brian Tallerico HollywoodChicago.com Clever horror/comedy hybrid of the kind that Sam Raimi used to make and that so many have tried to produce in recent years but have fallen remarkably flat. There's nothing flat about this clever genre flick. For the right audience, it's pretty great. Rated: 4.0/5.0 Oct 7, 2011 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review What lasts throughout is the comic chemistry between Labine and Tudyk, who make these not-so-stupid characters into a lovable duo that should have their own series of films. Rated: 3.5/4 Mar 9, 2023 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Even folks who generally shy away from gorefests should appreciate the dark humor, surprising plot pirouettes, and, most shockingly, developed characterizations in Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. Rated: 3/4 Feb 15, 2023 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies It pokes fun at every splatter movie cliché and gimmick you can imagine while also packaging in a load of genuinely funny dialogue and hilarious gags.
