I live on the southwest side of Tucker, and I love it! Those who do commute might have a tougher time. Traffic gets bad when schools get let out. There are lots of trees and kind neighbors. It's a mix of refugees, older couples, and families, many of whom moved to the area to be a part of Clarkston area ministries. Main street is small and cute and there are lots of great coffee shops and restaurants nearby.
I was born and raised in Tucker Georgia. It's a cute little city with a perfect main street where at the end the high school is ideally located. As a community we are all supportive of one another and accepting of each other. I loved growing up here.
I live, work, and play in Tucker and I love It! It's a really wonderful area! The proximity to ATL is great, but I often find that I don't even have to go into the city except for "special events" because there's so much going on here!
It's so diverse and you can't beat some of the local establishments we've got here. Also, there's a sense of pride amongst the residents of Tucker that I really appreciate!
