don’t ‘then-wife’ linda man 😭😭😭
Came here to say this! Late wife ≠ "then-wife"
‘Then-wife’ is absolutely not appropriate for a spouse who has died.
The correct term is ‘late wife’
Thank god. I was like… am I in bizarro land?!
i miss denny man : ( still not over that
I like the red sound baffles. Very 70's. This ain't studio 2
Loved Wings.....RIP to both Linda & Denny... glad Paul & Ringo are still with us.
Hard
I thought this was Venus and Mars era...
Left hand up means what?
The Beatles and the moody blues (Denny Laines old band) played empire pool together for NME poll winners 1965
I wonder how much of BOTR that we hear on the album was actually recorded in Lagos.
Late wife.
R Crumb!!!!!!!
That had to be weird for Denny Lane joining a band with someone like Paul who brought his wife into the game. Don't get me wrong, I really like Linda. That's just a weird dynamic.
I had read that they all got along pretty well. Lindas background vocals were pretty distinctive- in a good way, i thought.
I saw them in concert in the mid 70s. I went because I was too young during The Beatles original tours and wanted to at least see one Beatle. It was weird to me that Linda was on stage with Paul. Paul should've known it would be weird after Yoko going to studio with John.
Glad you got to see them. Wish i couldve. Even in the now grainy videos, you can see how much Paul loved her.
They were no doubt a great couple. Linda held her own as a photographer and writing cook books etc. She was admirable.
I had 2nd row center seats for Wings. I also later saw Ringo play with John Entwistle. That was strange and only a few people were there as an audience. I felt bad for him. I couldn't imagine being in a band that packed Shea stadium with screaming so loud your music couldn't be heard to then playing to a sad crowd of no more than 20 people.
How do you think the Plastic Ono band felt?
Same
Mom, I want the Beatles!!
Mom: We have the Beatles at home.
The Beatles at home..
The Seventies.
The decade when people who otherwise spent a lifetime caring about how they looked…
…all collectively agreed to stop caring about how they looked.
To be fair, there’s not a lot of need to get dressed up to go record in the studio.
Yeah I totally disagree
