As a recently graduated alumni, class of 2023, I can say confidently that Tri-Cities High School is a good school that is on a positive path. The best aspects of it are its students, particularly its magnet students in the performing and visual arts. From the Theatre to the Artists to the Band they are all phenomenal students who take extreme pride in their school. Following new administration a lot of the issues found within the school are being amended. Students are being provided with resources such as the Unidos Center to get proper clothing, such as suits and dresses for interviews, groceries, and teachers they can speak with during the day if there are any issues that need to be resolved. The only thing that hasn't changed as quickly are the students and their willingness to change, but everything is slowly coming into place together.
Many find high school memorable for friendships and learning. The best parts included forming lifelong connections and discovering personal interests. Challenges often arised from academic pressures or social dynamics. Improving mental health support and promoting diverse learning methods could enhance the overall experience.
Since I started attending Tri-Cities, it has been great. Of course, there are some hiccups like every school will have but overall, it has been a great experience. I have made a lot of friends that truly care for me and the administration cares for their students.
My experience about Tri-cities High school was actually good. I pretty much didn’t experience nothing worst everything went so well to me. And on my opinion I feel like I wouldn’t like to change anything.
My best part about the school was the teachers and students I connected with. My worst parts was how strict it had gotten overtime. Also, I didn’t have that much fun. I learned a lot as far as my education. I would like to see better professionalism and actually caring about the students.
School is overall okay. It definitely wasn’t the best experience I ever had but it was a good experience. The teachers were decent and some of the staff was good . I had a very decent experience at this school . I would definitely have memories of this school
My experience at Tri-Cities High School has been an emotional ride, but I made the best of it. I’ve learned a lot about myself and the peers around me. It helped me grow as a person and as a musician. I came to Tri-Cities to grow my voice to be a singer. And I can compare from my 9th grade year to now that my hard work has indeed payed off.
My experience at Tri-Cities has been eye-opening to say the least. At Tri-Cities they take learning to a new level, where you can learn or do just about anything while you’re there. Tri-Cities also has a great support system there to help you whenever you need it. The two things I would change about the school is their school spirit and the cafeteria food.
Tri-Cities highschool, as I believe, is overall an average school. Through my years of attending, I never necessarily had a bad experience. I came in through the chorus magnet program. Tricities has an excellent arts magnet program, which the school is mostly known for, aside from the basketball team.
I liked the teachers, they were very helpful and were easy to work with. I also think they offer really good classes and extra curricular activities.
I love the school pride here, specifically when the band and dancers perform during pep rallies. I have also really liked my teachers so far, and haven’t had any issues with them in my years going here (I’m a senior now). Overall, it’s a great school and I love going here.
When I attended Tri-Cities, it wasn't the best, but there was so much you could be apart of. For me, I was apart of the A/V program and Graphic. It was one of the things I enjoyed the most when attending. The magnet program was one the best things about the school, as well. You had options from band, chorus, dance, art, culinary, etc. The academic portion was okay, but there were some teachers that weren't the best. Some teachers would lose the work we turned in, and when we ask about it would say "You never turned it in". I had a teacher who never showed up, and then we would be told the left the school halfway through the semester. Some teachers just ignored me when I needed help. Other than that, all the other teachers would do what they were suppose to do, and treat us as equals. In conclusion, Tri-Cities has its flaws, but was a good school to attend for me at the time.
When I was a sophomore at Tri-Cities high school( 2019) I had an amazing chemistry teacher named Mr. Gordon and he was the most caring and giving person ever I am extremely grateful that I have the opportunity to be a student has class lessons but he taught us carried on and now my adulthood. I am forever grateful.( I graduated in 2021)
Though my experience at Tri-Cities was short, one thing that was memorable of that school was the students within it. Everyone was themselves and the school and staff writhing the school was completely supportive of the concept of uniqueness. The staff also positively pushes the students to do great and graduate, I believe they are the main reason why the class of 2022 had such a high graduation rate. One thing I would hope to see change in the priorities that the school has. The school tends to beat around serious topics and issues that come up instead of solving it directly. It caused a lot of chaos and confusing amongst the students and even the students families. But overall my experience at Tri-Cities Highschool is one I will never forget.
I love the amount of support we receive from the black community. And the opportunities given, especially in the magnet program. Although I would like to see a change in the school's combat with school fights and mental health between students.
I have had tons of amazing experiences with my friends and cousins. Playing football opened my eyes to what real team players look like.
Tri Cities is very diverse and the school will help lead you in the path towards your career. Also, there are many teachers and staff present to help if anything. The school lunch has many varieties; different options. The school isn’t perfect, but overall is a good arts school.
