Biography

2021-22 (FRESHMAN)

  • Recorded 48 blocks in his debut season, the fourth-most by any Mizzou freshman.
  • Ranked second in the SEC against conference opponents with 1.72 blocks per game, behind National Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Walker Kessler.
  • Played in 25 games with 23 starts, averaging 1.9 blocks per game which tied for the third best single-season mark in program history.
  • Led Mizzou in blocks in 20 of his 25 games played, after missing the first eight games of the season with a health issue.
  • Made his Missouri debut against Eastern Illinois (12/7) with four points and two rebounds in 14 minutes.
  • First career start came against Utah (12/18) where he recorded three rebounds and two blocks.
  • Had a breakout performance against Illinois (12/22) with 11 points, five rebounds and six blocks.
  • His six blocks tied for the fourth-most in a single-game at Mizzou, and were the third most by any Tiger freshman in a game.
  • Scored seven or more points in 15 of his 25 games.
  • Contributed nine points, seven rebounds and three blocks in the Tigers win against No. 15 Alabama (1/8).
  • Nabbed a personal-best 10 rebounds in the regular-season finale against Georgia (3/5) where he added eight points and four blocks.
  • Had four-straight near double-doubles to end the season, including a 15 point and eight rebound outburst in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals against LSU (3/10).  

HIGH SCHOOL

  • Won the Missouri Class 6 state championship at Kickapoo.
  • Exploded for 18 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots in Kickapoo's sectional title game win over Nixa.
  • Named a 2021 MBCA All-State selection.  
  • Ranked the fourth-best prospect in the state of Missouri by 247 Sports and the No. 178 prospect nationally. 
  • Averaged 11.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game at Parkview High School as a junior before transferring to Kickapoo for his senior campaign.
  • Exploded on the travel circuit following his junior campaign and committed to the Tigers the day after he received his offer, calling Mizzou "the place he always wanted to be."
