Alice in Chains (AiC) is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1987 by guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell and drummer Sean Kinney, who later recruited bassist Mike Starr and lead vocalist Layne Staley. Starr was replaced by Mike Inez in 1993. William DuVall joined the band in 2006 as co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, replacing Staley, who had died in 2002. The band took its name from Staley's previous group, the glam metal band Alice N' Chains.

Treehouse Tapes

I've had and loved the "Sweet Alice" bootleg demos for years, but has the real Treehouse Tapes demo ever been found? I found a couple of web pages that mention the songs on it but not much more.

Firstly, I'm not sure what that playlist is all about, it seems like a load of garbled sources

I have "Sweet Alice", but that apparently contains a different set of demos, from 1989. Treehouse Tapes is from 1988, and the main differences between SA and TT that I can see is that TT allegedly contains Bite The Bullet, which I've never heard, 2 songs that I've only got on Music Bank: I Can't Have You Blues and What'cha Gonna Do, and Fairytale Love Story which was on some other tape I got years ago (actually I think I Can't Have You Blues was also on said tape)

Here's the link that I found about the Treehouse Tapes:

I'm inclined to believe that it's based on fake info, like that YouTube playlist.

I only noticed today that AIC's Wikipedia page mentioned Treehouse Tapes, hence my post here.
