Travis Kelce has a few non-negotiables when it comes to his love life.

The 33-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end — and bachelor — shared his perspective on dating while in the spotlight in the recent episode of the Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari podcast.

“High maintenance, I’m out the door,” the outspoken NFL star shared with former reality star Kristin Cavallari, and added that the person he dates has “to be humble, grounded.”

It also helps if the prospective paramour is kind like his mom, Donna Kelce, he said.

“My mother is an absolute angel so I kind of base who I look at based off of how kind-hearted and sweet my mother is,” he said. “You gotta have some sort of sweetness to you.”

The frequent jokester then added about who would make the worst matchup for him: “If you’re arrogant, snooty or just higher or above people, that’s the biggest turn-off for me.”

For Kelce — who previously tried out the reality dating scene on his short-lived show Catching Kelce — finding Mrs. Kelce is “going to take some time.”

“It’s not going to be immediate because, the stuff I’ve been through, just in my past, I feel like you really gotta know somebody to take that step and really be committed and be in full-throttle,” he told Cavallari. “I can’t just meet somebody and just automatically think that forever is just a day away … I think it takes quite a bit of time for somebody to really get to know somebody and really get to find that affection and love for them.”

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end formerly dated on-air sports journalist Kayla Nicole for several years before the couple broke up in August 2020 amid a cloud of cheating rumors. Kelce denied the rumors in a since-deleted tweet and has been quiet about his love life since then.

He added to Cavallari, “I like to believe that all of that stuff will come genuine and natural and I won’t have to think about getting into that part of my life ahead of time, the stars will align, I guess.”
