- MaKayla S2 contributionsWe did the 2 hour tour with Sean and he went above and beyond! Amazing tour guide and his knowledge was incredible! We learned so much and enjoyed our time.Written May 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- aspiringtraveler2016Detroit, MI26 contributionsWe stopped here on a private wine tour and this was by far our favorite. The charcuterie board was delicious and we enjoyed almost every wine we tried. I’m not a rosé drinker but the frosé was dangerously good. Definitely a must stop!Written March 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Teakwo23Palm Harbor, FL4,686 contributionsVery nice and lots of history. Free to enter but extra charge to go to the top. Nice gift shop and staff. Gets cold in October and windy.Written October 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MSkinnerSault Ste. Marie, Canada628 contributionsWe were visiting TC for a couple days in early January and wanted to see some vineyards. This was our first stop and it didn't disappoint. Some of us had a wine tasting, and the wines were excellent. Can't remember his name, but our server was great - he had lots of tips about the wine and was super nice. Others had the cider and they were really good. We ended up buying a couple bottles of the cherry cider. Views were amazing, and I'm sure better in the summer. But it wasn't overly busy, so a good time of the year to visit. Would certainly recommend it.Written January 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- L BTaylor, MI470 contributionsThis was beautiful. I love the views and how clean this was. Everyone was so friendly. I would totally go back in the fall to see the colorsWritten March 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SororenElliot Lake, Canada4 contributionsThe tour was fantastic, Mike was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire distillation process. He made us feel so welcomed into the distillery, it was very obvious he enjoys his job. Mike had no trouble answering any of our questions. The smell in the rickhouse was absolutely incredible!
We stayed for the tasting after the tour, again Mike's knowledge of the spirits shone through. I named the vodka I regularly drink, and one I don't like. Mike lined me up a tasting of the three types of vodkas made at GTD so I could figure out I like wheat vodka!
We both left with a bottle - cocoa bean vodka for me and silver rum for my friend.
The guys in the tasting room were great as well, hospitality was top notch. They even gave us tips for our adventure to Sleeping Bear Dunes!
Thanks so much for such a fantastic experience - We will definitely be back!Written November 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We visited on 14 March and Stacy was our guide. This was fantastic. The facility is beautiful, the wine is wonderful and the charcuterie was delicious. Also, Stacy is one of the best tour guides we've ever had (anywhere). I highly recommend this experience! We also returned later that day for a delicious lunch - meatball skillet!Written March 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah KGrand Rapids, MI189 contributionsPerfect spot for young kids. One of our favorite splash pads, and the water isn’t too cold. Shallow beach swimming area is great for kids too. Clean bathrooms and changing rooms. Lots of shaded picnic areas.Written July 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - boaterdan278Muskegon, Michigan24 contributionsWe visited Chateau Grand Traverse Winery this past weekend, March 2024. We were staying at The Inn at Chateau Grand Traverse, so we visited the tasting room three separate times. Each time we were greeted at the door and asked if we needed help or direction. The attendants at the tasting bar were knowledgeable and did a great job of presenting the products. The tasting room is inviting with comfortable furniture and a fireplace. You can purchase tastings or wine by the glass. The tasting room was quieter than most, even thought there was a fair crowd. The outside area is protected during cold weather with clear vinyl curtains which allow you to enjoy the view of the surrounding area, Grand Traverse Bay and the vineyards, which is remarkable. The store has is stocked with tasteful keepsakes, apparel and of course wine. Their prices are fair and they provide volume discounts. Summing up, if you visit The Mission Peninsula north of Traverse City, make sure to stop in and enjoy.Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
