たま～にではあるが、時々無性にマウンテンのライブが聴きたくなる。 パッパラルディの歌謡曲の歌手のような歌い方が好きでもある。以前、レスリーが「フェリックスがブルースを歌うとすごく良いのだ」と言っていたが、As The Years Go Passing By で堪能できる。 Dreams I Dream Of You は全く歌謡曲ように歌っている。竹田和夫も、レスリーのような音を出して弾いている箇所もあるし、クラプトンのように弾いている箇所もある。 Nantucket Sleighride は21'41"も演っているが、竹田ギターをふんだんに盛り込んで、それなりに楽しめる。マウンテン来日時に、前座が Creation だったので、パッパラルディはそこで Creation を知ったのだろう。 武道館では、マウンテンよりも、Creationの方が音がデカかったのが印象に残っている。

この程度の音なら十分！武道館の音のほうが遥かに悪いです。ファンであれば持っとかないとダメですよー。
creationのライブ音源はLPでjust alive一枚だけしか出てないのでそういう意味もあって星四つです。77年のオーストラリアツアーの音源もあれば
CD化して頂きたいです。

音は良くなく「Live at 武道館 1979」並みです。
FM音源利用らしいです。がAM放送のような音質です。
まあ聞けるだけでもありがたいです。選曲も興味深いです。
まるでアンプラグドの雰囲気があちこちにあります。特にM4で顕著です。
あの曲は約22分やってくれています。ラスト曲はなぜかフェイドアウトで終わります。

I had been looking for this for awhile. Great sounding show of a really talented band that just slid by the wayside. If you like Felix Pappalardi and are a fan of Mountain; this will NOT disappoint. "Nantucket Sleighride" like you never heard it before. Wish they had more live performances of this band. There is one other I have but it is an audience recording , so I highly recommend this one!

For true fans of Mountain. Yes, there are a bunch of post-Mountain songs, but this band puts a fantastic spin on the Mountain tunes that they DO play. Travelling In The Dark is exquisite, Nantucket Sleighride, like you've NEVER heard it before. This is a much less bombastic band. I LOVE Leslie West, but this is just a great change of pace.

While an edit of one track is annoying but probably to do with radio broadcast origins this is a very interesting recording for Pappalardi buffs. Not the least for the Nanucket Sleighride cover featuring some really tasty work by the little known guitarist.

you'll wish that you could sing as good as! in your dreams leslie! no matter how bad it is, it is still better than all of you deserve . Maybe be Dan Scott of one tree hill could use a tune like this. Whatever? good service fast delivery. Ah so! whatever?
