Zach W CLASSIC! FUNNY & INCREDIBLE MOVIE!!!! 100% Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/29/23 Full Review Karolina S Simple feel good with old timer humor Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/25/23 Full Review Walter R I watch this movie almost every Christmas. It wasn't meant to be a serious movie but it is incredibly entertaining and small towns really did work like that at 1 point. Smile and enjoy stop acting so serious. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/24/23 Full Review madbreadmations No clue what these other people are on, but I thought this movie what funny as hell Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/16/23 Full Review Vikes M One of my top ten favorite Christmas movies. This is done in an 80's style with a positive message and a feel good Christmas theme. The simple plotline works exactly for the reason that a Christmas movie should, and the cast here is rather good, with the exception of Cage's overacting, but Lovitz and Carvey kill their characters. A nice little movie to have with your eggnog this year. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/11/23 Full Review Maxwell K This movie is hilarious. My family regularly watches this around Christmas. Todd McCarthy Variety Has enough in the way of sentiment and goofy situational predicaments to put it over as a serviceable family holiday attraction. Sep 16, 2008 Full Review Jonathan Rosenbaum Chicago Reader Even the weather seems tailored to the script's shifting needs. Sep 16, 2008 Full Review Wally Hammond Time Out Cage looks cold most of the time, and has retractable stubble. The rest of the cast look like they're waiting for summer. Jun 24, 2006 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a just-barely watchable endeavor that receives plenty of mileage out of the charming efforts of its various performers... Rated: 2.5/4 Dec 11, 2022 Full Review TV Guide This silly action comedy mixes brilliant production design -- it looks like a Norman Rockwell painting come to life -- and cloying sentimentality to no good effect.
