BJP urges Himachal Assembly Speaker to accept resignation of three independent MLAs

Dharamshala, Mar 28 (UNI) BJP state President Rajeev Bindal on Thursday urged Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Pathania to accept the resignations of the three independent MLAs who had put in their papers before the Speaker.
Talking to mediapersons here on the sidelines of public meeting organised by the party to accord reception to the former local Congress MLA Sudhir Sharma, who recently crossed over to the BJP, Bindal blamed Chief Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu for the "mess" in the government, which is on the verge of collapse.
He said the number of MLAs in the treasury benches has come down from 43 to 34 because of its wrongdoings. The nine MLAs who joined the BJP were "humiliated" by the chief minister; their constituencies were ignored, and development works in these nine constituencies had come to a stand still, said Bindal.
