Wouldn't recommend to anyone. BT is the worst person ever. Staff is very disrespectful an very unprofessional, they are usually sleeping at the reception when they should be doing their job. It's just an awful place. Elevators can stop working all of the sudden and they won't care. Very bad place. Even one of the person in charge has some bias against certain group of people. Awful place. The 24/7 is not reliable at all, you can see people that aren't residents inside the building. Maintenance is awful.

Poor maintenance, unresponsive property manager (Brian Tomsic), outdated unit for a premium price (my unit was on the second floor), plumbing issues (water leaks in the bathroom) and multiple preexisting defects.
Stay away from Brian Tomsic, one of the property managers at the Tower Plaza. He is irresponsible and unresponsive to any requests unless it concerns payment. Currently, I am waiting for him to get back to me about a water leak in the bathroom. It has been 3 weeks now since i notified Brian of this issue. After 2 weeks, I stopped by his office for an update and he seemed confused at first. He did recall, however, and told me he was waiting for an "estimate" for the repair. Brian, estimates do not take 3 weeks. It takes usually a day for something like this.
There was also a bat in my unit--on my bed to be exact. I have never seen one before and wish i took a picture of it, but... i freaked out when it flapped its wings and ran out the door.
Right now, maintenance is dealing with it and it looks like the bat has moved to another unit in the building. There are apparently ~ 300 units in Tower Plaza so idk how long it is going to take to find it. And Brian Tomsic has been slowly working on it. He did not have my phone number so I provided it to him, which he then provided to Pest Control. Ok... is the tenant responsible for bat extermination?
The important question however, is how the bat got inside the units. My guess is that it came through one of the open windows. Prior to last week, most of the units in Tower Plaza did not have window screens. But after decades of intensive discussions, the decision was made to install window screens on all operable windows.
Better late than never i guess.Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 0 - Yugi G.Mitchell, Ann Arbor, MI82Feb 20, 2019
I've lived at Tower Plaza for 5 months now. The location is the most convenient in the city. You can walk to just about everything. It's so nice not to have to deal with parking and traffic delays. The bus system is very easy to navigate as well. All the staff here have been very responsive to any requests I have asked about.
It's so great to have 24 hr. Security.
The people living in Tower Plaza vary from retirees, business professionals, graduate students, college students, which is so great to interact with so many different people.
A lot of the units have been updated and are very well appointed. This is one of the only condominium buildings downtown Ann Arbor that you can actually purchase a unit.
I recommend checking out Tower Plaza if you are thinking about downtown living! It's the best!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marwa K.McLean, VA12330Jan 5, 2012First to Review
Poorly maintained: they've been fixing elevators since I moved in in the summer, we wait for 7 min average. Plumbing problems, heating/ac problems, the list goes on. They have horrible ventilation, no fan or window in the bathroom. When I contact Michael, the site manager, he responds quickly, but the problem with my heat/ac unit is persistent and is extreme annoying. The building is renovated from outside but the inside is as old as it was built.
