Aww.... Tis is certainly a sad news! The first time I meet Tony, it was through a common friend, Romulo, who also is no longer among us. Tony and I meet at the Hollywood landmark French Quarter in West Hollywood for lunch. He arrived on a black Cadillac, tinted black windows, dressed up in a polished black suite, a pitch black hair, piercing blue eyes, quite charming confident attitude, and on his hand he had a CD Demo. He told me that he developed some films and he wanted to direct and place his music. I had no idea he could sing. He handled me his CD Demos, he wanted me to hear his music right away. He asked me to go to his car to listen to the demo. Like a young musician he blasted the stereo lol... I honestly was in shock because he was actually really good, and if Sinatra was alive he would have some serious competition. He was also looking for a distribution deal for his album and wanted to finish his shows at the time in a Reno cassino and have a Las Vegas Residency. I was taking all that information and I was intrigued with this man's passions and enthusiasms and most of all with his multi talent skills. This man was a legend. He has done it all, and there he was siting in a table with me drinking expresso, smoking cigarets, asking me to help him to get his CD Demo to the hands of some music producers and investors. - I thought this guy Tony is quite an interesting character, who practically knows everybody, and have Hollywood literally on his hands, and when I say LITERALLY, you know what I mean (famous son, Hollywood crowd, etc). - - I bumped to Tony few times over the years in events around town and even his age was not a problem to keep his dream moving and his jovial attitude and enthusiasm alive.

If there is one lesson I learn form Tony on the fewer times we meet is that; "No mater how old you are, how long it takes, if you have a dream, don't give up. Go for it.", and Tony did just that. - So that was my little history trajectory with Tony.

- - RIP Tony, Film and Music in heaven will me more delightful.

My husband and I miss the late night talks. I am happy to say I saved all the texts with him singing to me. He loved that. He was very proud of his martial arts degrees. So down to earth as a friend. He loved my husband who is also Italian and they shared so many stories and ideas for future entertainment. With much love and prayers we send our condolences to the entire Tarantino family. We now have a angel watching over all of us. Love, Patti and Rudy Clai

I met Mr. Tarantino one day at church. I didn't know who he was. All I saw was an older man walking up the steps to our church. I held the door for him, he thanked me. I introduced myself. He said My name is Tony Tarantino.
We had a short conversation and he was such a nice and gentle man. I then realized he was Quentin Tarantino's father.
I regret not knowing him more than that. May he rest in peace. He was beloved by our church.

My favorite moments with Tony were when he would break out his guitar while we were chatting on the phone and sing a beautiful song. I will miss him dearly. It was wonderful being his friend and working with him.

I met Tony through my work in Law Enforcement. He contacted me one day and wanted to discuss a movie project he wanted to film in Texas. I wasn´t sure how real he was so I did some checking and found out it was really him. I was so honored for him to ask me my advice and if I could help him to get the state to help the industry by reducing taxes to bring more movie making to Texas . Since that time we would call each other just to talk and his stories and his experiences were just fascinating. We became friends and even if the project didn´t take off we stayed friends.
Later we both discovered we were both Marines. And that brought a closer connection. RIP my friend I will always cherish the talks we had. Semper FI!!

My first memory with him was at Philz coffee. He was so energetic to discuss his post production at the time. It was a lunch meeting. It was like talking to an older serious Marlon Brando of Directors. We were friends who never ran out of conversation. I was there for his baptismal service. I am so glad he is at peace from his constant battle with pain.
