Milutin Osmajić scored first in the match to give Vizela the lead and the score remained 1-0 until the second half. David Neres tied things up in the 76th minute and the game-winner was scored by João Mário in stoppage time.

Maccabi Haifa is currently playing in the Israeli Premier League and is sitting comfortably in second place with a strong 3-0 start to the season. In the club's last outing, it picked up a 2-1 win over Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Tomer Hemed scored first for Hapoel only two minutes into the match, but Omer Atzili was able to tie things up for Maccabi just before the half. The game-winner came from Frantzdy Pierrot in the final minute of regulation to secure the win. 

Benfica and Maccabi have never met before, so without proper scouting, the teams will be coming in relatively blind.
