Meanwhile my opponents are calculating the wind velocity of my bundles icy wind while writing a prisoners dilemma on their notepad and at the same time discussing the effects of the Geneva convention on Pokemon battles.

IMO note taking is a dying breath of closed team sheets era. Other than speed tiers why copy and paste what’s on your open team sheet. Just look back over and read.

I absolutely love taking notes but I usually copy the team sheet bc it helps me remember when I write stuff down, as well as writing the leads for all games both of us chose. I found it helps me when reviewing matches too after regionals seeing what errors I made where and when
I guess I really look at playback notes differently than what all these vgc coaches recommend. My notebook from Charlotte said do not let Tom Hayden hit nasty plot or you loose 😂💀
