'Jack Ryan' Season 4 release date, cast: How to watch final season premiere

"Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" is set for its final run on Amazon Prime Video.

John Krasinski returns as the titular Ryan for the show's fourth and final season. Season 4 concludes a journey for Ryan that saw him climb from CIA analyst to the agency's deputy director.

The trailer for the newest installment shows Ryan recruiting Domingo Chavez to help him uncover a conspiracy within the CIA and stop the union of a drug cartel with a terrorist group.

Krasinski is the fifth actor to have played Ryan and after the conclusion of Season 4, will have played him for 30 episodes, making him the actor who has played Ryan the longest.

'Jack Ryan' Season 4 release date, time

Season 4 premieres on Amazon Prime Video with two episodes on Thursday, June 29, at 8:00 p.m. ET, according to the show's page on Prime Video. Amazon had previously said Season 4 premiered June 30.

Prime Video is available as part of the Amazon Prime membership, which costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually.

The newest season premieres only six months after Season 3 debuted in December.

How many episodes are in 'Jack Ryan' Season 4?

Two episodes will be released weekly until the finale on July 14. This season of "Jack Ryan" will only have six episodes.

According to Variety, Prime Video debuted all eight episodes of Season 3 simultaneously, but has switched to a weekly release structure for the final season.

In an interview with The Wrap, Krasinski confirmed they shot Seasons 3 and 4 of the show back to back, making the wait for Season 4 shorter than for previous seasons.

Amazon Prime Video released a trailer for the final season on May 31.

"Jack Ryan" now finds Ryan acting as the CIA’s deputy director, on a mission to investigate drug cartels, terrorist organizations and a domestic conspiracy, according to Variety.

In addition to Krasinski as the titular Jack Ryan, the series also stars Wendell Pierce, Michael Kelly, Betty Gabriel and Abbie Cornish.

Newcomers Michael Peña and Louis Ozawa join the cast for the final season.
