Omotesando is Tokyo's elegant boulevard, known for its upscale boutiques and architecturally striking facades. A leisurely stroll along this avenue is a treat for fashion enthusiasts and design lovers. While it caters to high-end shopping, it's equally enjoyable for window shopping and soaking in the artistic storefronts that make Omotesando a stylish urban experience.

If you like bridges, this one is special. Interesting design and construction, and easy to view from Daibo Park, which is also interesting.

Shrine was a nice visit. The best was the war memorial, which was located next to the shrine. It provided a different perspective of Japan view on world war 2 and their disciplines and honour
upon surrendering. We spent more than 2 hours here.

Amazing collection of works within a brilliant building. Recommended for both artists and architects alike even if you're on a short stay in Tokyo. Notable of all pieces would be the picasso ones. Only negative was that when I purchased tickets I put the 1000 bill down slowly next to the tray and the ticket lady picked it up and slammed it into the tray in frustration. Look, I understand its considered impolite to not put money on trays but for her to take the note and throw it into the tray as a ticket officer was over the top it's not like I put the threw the note down.

This one is another beautiful park to visit in Tokyo to view Cherry blossom. Visited it on 8th April afternoon. The view of Cherry blossom along the Hanzo moat was simply magical. From the park, the path leading to the Imperial Palace east garden is a nice walk and in the evenings the cherry blossom glowing in the light is another unforgettable experience. Even without cherry blossom the walk along the moat in the evening would be quite nice.

Rikugien was one of the highlights of Tokyo for me, the garden is tucked away behind a residential area and is a beautiful example of a well manicured Japanese garden. The ponds and bridges were lovely and the maple trees so lusciously green. Definitely want to visit again in autumn as it looks like it would be spectacular. The entrance fee is minimal like most of the gardens in Japan, and it was really quiet when we went. A very tranquil place all in all

I'm not a big fan of the observatories, but Tocho does a fantastic night lightup! It's spectacular. So beautiful. It'll take you to another world for a while. It starts at 19:00 and every 30 minutes until 21:00. One show lasts for 15 minutes. The schedule will change in summer, so check it before heading out.

Great experience to mix up your time in Tokyo. I went to one act which was long enough to give a taster to this traditional theatre. I enjoyed people watching the audience, many ladies in their beautiful kimonos. You have to get the audio headset or else you will have no idea what is happening! 800 yen and the best money spent, buy upstairs before you enter. You can't take photos of the show but good memories for you to experience.

Fantastic experience at this premier art museum and the viewing deck on top of the building. The "Our Ecology" exhibit was fascinating and very accessible. Judos to the curators, who brought together stunning work from artists all over the world to reimagine and explore the world's environmental woes. Yet the exhibit managed to be awe-inspiring instead of depressing. The presentation was simple but beautiful. The entry price includes access to the viewing deck, which is a bargain. Wonderful gift shop as well.

It was much bigger than I had imagined and had an overwhelming presence. I took some commemorative photos with my family, and it's a perfect photo spot.

I stumbled upon this tour. It was amazing, I learnt a lot about Japanese culture and history. Our guide treated us with such warmth showing us how to act in the temples.

The stars are for the beauty. The layout and the Gardens of the Palace are beautiful without a doubt. However there's nothing to do in there at all and it can be quite boring if you're with alot of people. If you're a couple this is definitely worth doing. It's more of a romantic setting not a 6 guys on holiday setting!

Looking for something a little different and definitely high-end? This area and it's shops might be for you.

Housing TeamLab Borderless and countless fashion and bakery stores, we killed around 30 minutes enjoying the mall. We especially loved the Supermarket. With it's 5,000 Yen melons and amazingly beautiful fruit. The meats were delightful and the Italian hanging hams of Prosciutto lovely.

Would we visit again...probably not but it was a great experience.

We were staying in the Asakusa area so this was a 10 minute walk for us. You really can't miss this street; every shop sells kitchenware, knives, tableware etc. I was hoping to buy some cute ceramic bowls, chopsticks and such but when I was there, it was a bit overwhelming going into every store. And I really didn't have too much time to browse.

We did buy 2 knives from Kamata though. I had researched beforehand and had down names of a few knife shops that were recommended. Kamata was one so we went in and after browsing and talking to the shopkeepers, bought 2 for around $100 each. My sons love using them so it was definitely a good purchase.

Other than the knives, we just bought a fake food magnet from a fake food store. The items in there are quite expensive for a souvenir, especially when you can buy something from another store that you can actually use!

We got tax refunds for the knives at an office on the street. It was an easy few minute process since no one else was in there but us.

Always beautiful and not normally crowded. It can be reached via the right of the building alley and walkway. We go there often then have a coffee.
