Kirsten Dunst, the talented actress known for her role as Mary Jane Watson in the Tobey Maguire-led 'Spider-Man' trilogy, recently reminisced about one of the most terrifying stunts she performed during the filming of the movies. In a candid interview with British GQ, Dunst revealed the harrowing experience of filming a scene where her character, Mary Jane, is dropped from a high building, emphasising the intense physical demands and risks involved in such sequences.

Dunst recalled the daunting nature of the stunt, describing how she was made to "free fall" from a significant height, relying on safety harnesses and wires to ensure her safety. Despite the precautions in place, Dunst admitted to feeling a sense of fear and vulnerability as she plunged downward, her adrenaline pumping as she braced for impact.

The actress reflected on the challenges of filming such high-intensity action sequences, highlighting the physical and mental toll it took on her. She credited the supportive cast and crew for helping her navigate the daunting experience, expressing gratitude for their professionalism and guidance throughout the filming process.

"I did do a lot of my stunts in Spider-Man, and I remember one stunt that they 'tested' on me once," Dunst explained during the interview. "They pulled me up basically to the top of a Sony sound stage, which is enormous, and they let me free fall until the very last second. I was like, 'You should have done that on camera. I will never do that again.' It was like a bungee jump, and I'm not that [person]. I don't need that adrenaline, personally, so I put my foot down. I was like, 'I am never doing that ever again,'" she said.

Dunst's recollection of the terrifying stunt offers insight into the rigorous demands of Hollywood filmmaking, particularly in the realm of superhero movies where actors often perform their own stunts. Her candid admission sheds light on the risks and sacrifices actors endure to bring these larger-than-life characters to the big screen.
