Why this version is different from the one that follows https://www.discogs.com/release/11072696-Tin-Machine-Tin-Machine ?- Purchased this when it was released, loved it then and still do. Orange inner sleeve with lyrics, still in great shape after all these years.
- Reeves Gabrels has stated this album was recorded digitally! It says digitally remastered from the analog masters here!
- i should note that i purchased one with inner sleeve which had a loop and purchased a sealed copy that did not have the printed inner sleeve but a clear plain sleeve. same runout matrix

This was released the year I graduated High School. It got some air time on college radio and Mtv. I now feel ashamed I didn't get into it more. As it was well deserved. A collective of great musicians plus Bowie? C'mon! - I just picked this up for $10 at a record fair, and I have to say, I really like it. I recall this project not being well received when it came out, and listening to it now, it's hard to understand why. It represents Bowie's return to form after some abysmal outings (Tonight and Never Let Me Down) right after the triumphant Let's Dance, with strong songwriting (especially "Prisoner Of Love" and "Baby Can Dance") and raw, edgy tracks. It still holds up, unlike anything from the rest of his 80s output. Without really knowing how this project came about, I like to imagine Bowie heard the Pixies' Surfer Rosa (from which he would later cover "Cactus" on his 2002 album Heathen), and decided he wanted to make an indie rock record with a full band, no drum machines, no slick production. This deserves a proper vinyl reissue-- could be a double album with Tim Machine II.

Any sugestions...?referencing Tin Machine (LP, Album) 064 7 91990 1
It seems that this lp has two inner sleeve variants. One is red, with 7 91990 1 printed horizontally on the upper right corner. The other is White, with 064-7 91990 1 printed vertically on the upper right corner. Otherwise these albums seem to be identical.- Track number 12 "Run" is longer in comparison to other versions.
The time at this version is 4:58 and on other versions it's just 3:20.
I don't know if there is a silent pause in this track.
