Summary
Years ago, the Divine Warriors ruled and protected the region of Ru’Aun. These warriors consisted of Irene the Matron, a realm traveler and healer to all those in need; Enki the Keeper, a scholar and charmer; Esmund the Protector, a diligent and good-natured warrior; Memphia the Fury, a diligent yet belligerent warrior, and Kul’zak the Wanderer, a well-traveled warrior with a heart of gold. Lastly, Shad the Destroyer, is the keeper of Irene’s heart and the source of all chaos in the regions. The story is quite sad, ending with Shad getting banished, yet refusing to go without a fight.
The warriors traveled through dimensions fighting off Shad and his taste for tragedy until Irene finally sealed herself away. It’s unknown what happened to the Divine Warriors after Irene’s disappearance, some were laid to rest while others went off in search of a new life far from Shad’s destruction. Even after their deaths, they lived on through new warriors, although these warriors hide in plain sight, simply a reincarnation of these long-forgotten divines.

Aaron has a problem. He really wants to ask out the hot goth down the street but he is terrible at talking to people so he enlists the help of his oldest friend, Aphmau to try and get his number. She accepts and tries to find out more about Zane to see if Aaron has a shot.
Minor issues, she befriends him a little too well and now his now crush thinks they are competing to be her best friend instead of making out like Aaron hoped. Other issues, his wing-women thinks that she can make the perfect fanfiction love story between the two.
Things are not going Aaron's way and the only thing he wanted was to possibly date his eye candy he sees down the street time-to-time. Hopefully, he can just get through this without embarrassing himself too much nor strangling his closest friends for being an idiot. (Spoilers: both of those things happen, multiple times, tee-hee :3)
