Thousand Oaks High School Reviews
Rating 3.99 out of 5 560 reviews
Thousand Oaks High School has lackluster teachers, poor academics and rude administration. The most important thing to them to have kids in seats to receive state funding. Both my children failed to receive guidance, support or advice in academics or personal growth. A few teachers and admin are doing their best to reach the children that actually want to learn.
I really like to see that my school has a whole board to make sure student voices are heard. It’s a program called SDAC where other students represent the school and try to fix problems within the community. I love that we have cultural clubs like Latino Connection, Black Student Union and Asian-American Pacific Islander Club. And I especially love how supportive my school is when it comes to our sports team and how they’re very supportive with both the boys teams and the girls team.
I transferred to Thousand Oaks High School for my junior and senior years of high school, and it was one of the best decisions I have made so far. I love the community and was able to find my small group of people who never fail to support me.
