TV Heaven presents edition number 737 of Thames Television's "This is Your Life" recorded on Friday 30th October 1987, with Eamon Andrews presenting what would sadly be his final edition, it was broadcast on the ITV Network on Wednesday 20th January 1988. The subject of the programme was actress Jane Rossington who had appeared in the much loved, but often derived soap opera "Crossroads", by which time the serial had been axed and was due to end on Easter Monday 4th April 1988. Each edition of This is Your Life was given a code name to protect the identity of the individual and on this occasion the word "Oak" was used, presumably in reference to Kings Oak the fictitional village used in the serial, which by time of transmission, had become part of the show's title.

This is Your Life is a British biographical television documentary, based on the 1952 American show of the same name. It was hosted by Eamonn Andrews from 1955 until 1964, and then from 1969 until his death in 1987 aged 64. Michael Aspel then took up the role of host until the show ended in 2003. It returned in 2007 as a one-off special presented by Trevor McDonald, which to date was its most recent airing.
