Thiago Silva likened Nicolas Jackson to Neymar following Chelsea's win against Everton. The 22-year-old striker fired Mauricio Pochettino's side to an emphatic 6-0 victory at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, earning himself a comparison to the Al Hilal winger.

Jackson netted the Blues' fourth goal of the clash shortly before half-time. Marc Cucurella lifted a delightful cross into the box; the Senegal international, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal in the summer, plucked the ball out of the air with his left, pirouetted onto his right then struck beat Jordan Pickford at his near post.

"You think the game is done at that point, but they really finish it off," said Jamie Carragher on Sky Sports. "This is absolutely fantastic. A man who has been questioned a lot this season. He’s got a few goals but this is absolutely outstanding.

"First touch, swivel, but again you can look at Everton. How has he got that time to bring that down, turn and put it in? But, you have to look at the quality of the finish."

He's now scored ten goals in his debut Premier League campaign with five games left to play. Jackson wheeled away in celebration, putting his hands on either side of his head, while sticking his tongue out – a gesture which became synonymous with Neymar during his days at Paris Saint-Germain.

After the game, the Senegalese ace marked the win over Everton with a celebratory post on Instagram, which quickly chalked up over 200,000 likes. In the comment section, Silva tagged the Brazil international and typed out four laughing emojis.
