The fucking mother of who raised this director and Daniel Day Lewis. There Will Be Blood is a film with a perfect narrative, incredible performances, violence that impressed me a lot, incredible photography, a story that advances with small but very significant steps, since as the story progresses the protagonist evolves in such a way. so that he is falling into madness. A beautiful performance by Lewis. Highly recommended

The sprawling, dark epic hinges on atmospherics and the moody air. It's heightened further by the ominous music, especially in the long, wordless opening sequence set in the mines with man pitted against nature.
