The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may spill the bio mom secret to Johnny Abbott (last played by Holden and Ryan Hare) without permission. This move could certainly cause Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to lash out in response.
During the week of August 15-19, Victoria won’t react well to Chelsea’s suggestion of coming clean.
Johnny already knows Victoria didn’t give birth to him, so it’s not like there’s a big adoption secret.
That said, there’s indeed a secret when it comes to who Johnny’s biological mother is.
Victoria will assure Chelsea that it wasn’t her intention to keep this hidden indefinitely.
However, there’s obviously a lot going on for Victoria’s family right now – things she can’t even make Chelsea privy to.
Victoria’s attention has to be on the Newman cover-up right now since there’s so much at stake.
Besides, Johnny just faced the loss of a stepfather he came to care about. Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death was a blow to Johnny since he doesn’t know the whole story.
Victoria will want to shield Johnny from more upheaval, so she won’t be interested in having Chelsea reveal her biological connection just yet.
Although Chelsea will agree to delay the revelation, she may take matters into her own hands soon after.
During the week of August 22-26, Chelsea will step over the line. There’ll be some situation where Chelsea does something that’s way out of bounds.
The logical explanation here is that Chelsea will get caught up in a special moment with Johnny and blurt out that she’s his real mom.
Chelsea might approach it from the angle of Johnny and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) being half-brothers since that’s something she really wants the boys to know.
This is reminiscent of the time Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) took it upon himself to tell Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) that he was his real dad and that Connor was his brother.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) wasn’t happy about that, and you can bet Victoria won’t be happy about Chelsea’s bombshell either!
Assuming Chelsea really does spill the beans herself, Victoria will be livid.
Billy will surely have a negative reaction, too – at least initially. Although Billy might come around to Chelsea’s way of thinking once he cools down, he’s bound to think she crossed the line at first.
Chelsea could make quite a mess when it comes to the bio mother shocker she’s determined to deliver.
