Good courtroom drama about a luxury liner destroyed by a fire and the always excellent Edmond O'Brien as the lawyer who defends the captain (Robert McQueeney), charged with gross negligence and incompetence.
As with all courtroom dramas, there are twists and turns and they're handled well. A good one should make you wonder 'how are they going to get out of this one?,' and that happens more than once here. There is also an interesting swerve involving a man portrayed on the poster used here. ;) (and also some imagery I don't understand...)
An enjoyable tale that works for fans of several genres, and is certainly a must-see for fans of O'Brien.
