Learn how your home can become more energy efficient, less costly to operate and more sustainable at the University Heights Sustainable Home Fair. Visit information booths from local vendors and service providers, attend how-to workshops, test-drive an electric vehicle, and more. The event is free and open to the public.

University Heights Sustainable Home Fair
1-4 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2024

Wiley School Building, 2181 Miramar Blvd.

Local organizations and service providers—including Solar United Neighbors, First Energy, NOPEC, Rust Belt Riders, Meadow City Nursery, Marshall Power Equipment, Dollar Bank, Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District, Greater Cleveland RTA, Keller Williams, Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District, Holden Forests & Gardens, Yellow Lite Solar, Cleveland Restoration Society, Cuyahoga County Health & Human Services, Home Repair Resource Center, Healthy Garden, University Heights Library, Cleveland Heights Green Team, and more—will host information booths at the fair.

How-to workshops:

1 p.m. Reduce/Recycle – with Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District’s Carin Miller
2 p.m. Insulating Your Old Home – with Home Repair Resource Center’s Wesley Walker
3 p.m. Preservation Is Sustainable – with Cleveland Restoration Society’s Heritage Home Program’s Chuck Kaczynski and Shannon Stokes

Ganley Nissan, Tesla of Cleveland, Marshall Ford, and Drive Electric Northeast Ohio will showcase electric vehicles.
