Szusza I I guess Americans don't quite get Aussie humour. It's a hoot...self deprecating humour...love it Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/27/23 Full Review Kenneth R Sometimes I feel like I'm from another universe, because I seen to like movies everyone else hates. this is one of those times. Mr Dundee is not a great movie by any stretch, but it's also not as bad as many claim. It has some funny moments, and it's enjoyable in its own way. Paul Hogan might be past his prime, but that does nothing to drag the movie down. Somehow it works in the movie's favour. Some of the gags don't quite land, but that also doesn't't run things. Overall, this is fun movie to pass the time with. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun movie and cool way to bring Dundee back Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/11/22 Full Review Audience Member Sadly, This Swan Song From Hoges Cannot Even Be Boosted By The Likes Of Cheevy Chase, Olivia Newton-John or John Clease.. alongside many other Celebrity Cameos.. The Vaguely Racist Goofs Don't Help Either. I Tuned Out Well & Truly When Aussie Actor Julia Morris Was Attempting A Terrible American Accent, Which Wasn't Necessary As Other Aussie Actors Played Themselves!?? Shane Jacobson's Weirdly Half American Whine Was Confusing Enough. I Don't Think This Should Of Been Made. Surprised Many Actors Signed Onto It. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Paul Hogan is way more charming than this. Don't believe me? Go watch Crocodile Dundee or Almost an Angel again. There was a moment at the beginning that I thought this was going to be good, but it quickly deteriorated into unfunny jokes or jokes that went on way too long. I felt like it was Australians trying to write American jokes for an American audience 30 years ago. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review steven y A movie lost in time, perhaps. It felt like a strained attempt to poke fun at the modern world by highlighting its absurdities through Hogan's eyes, but it comes across like another tired attempt to ridicule political correctness from an older generation's viewpoint. The set-pieces are a little tired, not dissimilar to how the second Dumb and Dumber film didn't tonally sit right. It's a film that'll make you smirk at times, but ultimately it's not great. Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee makes one long for such comparatively stellar Hogan vehicles as Almost an Angel and Lightning Jack. Dec 9, 2020 Full Review Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald Paul Hogan has always been a buoyant, optimistic presence on our screens, so it's particularly sad that this particularly awful new movie brings us the newly octogenarian Hogan playing himself as a man mortally diminished in every way. Jul 20, 2020 Full Review Luke Buckmaster Guardian A lot of it comes across as weird, self-pitying flapdoodle. Rated: 2/5 Jul 17, 2020 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …Paul Hogan’s unusual willingness to be the butt of jokes about himself just about gets this oddball little film over the line… Rated: 3/5 Oct 15, 2023 Full Review Steven Warner In Review Online There is something so good-natured and genial about the film, though, that it is near impossible to get too worked up about anything on display. Jun 5, 2021 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix The Crocodile Dundee movie series is like a good meal that went rotten years ago, then retrieved from the trash, and then served up to people who never asked for this stinking mess in the first place ... Everything about this movie is a colossal mistake. Mar 7, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
