Sometimes I feel like I'm from another universe, because I seen to like movies everyone else hates. this is one of those times. Mr Dundee is not a great movie by any stretch, but it's also not as bad as many claim. It has some funny moments, and it's enjoyable in its own way. Paul Hogan might be past his prime, but that does nothing to drag the movie down. Somehow it works in the movie's favour. Some of the gags don't quite land, but that also doesn't't run things. Overall, this is fun movie to pass the time with.

Sadly, This Swan Song From Hoges Cannot Even Be Boosted By The Likes Of Cheevy Chase, Olivia Newton-John or John Clease.. alongside many other Celebrity Cameos.. The Vaguely Racist Goofs Don't Help Either. I Tuned Out Well & Truly When Aussie Actor Julia Morris Was Attempting A Terrible American Accent, Which Wasn't Necessary As Other Aussie Actors Played Themselves!?? Shane Jacobson's Weirdly Half American Whine Was Confusing Enough. I Don't Think This Should Of Been Made. Surprised Many Actors Signed Onto It.

Paul Hogan is way more charming than this. Don't believe me? Go watch Crocodile Dundee or Almost an Angel again. There was a moment at the beginning that I thought this was going to be good, but it quickly deteriorated into unfunny jokes or jokes that went on way too long. I felt like it was Australians trying to write American jokes for an American audience 30 years ago.

A movie lost in time, perhaps. It felt like a strained attempt to poke fun at the modern world by highlighting its absurdities through Hogan's eyes, but it comes across like another tired attempt to ridicule political correctness from an older generation's viewpoint. The set-pieces are a little tired, not dissimilar to how the second Dumb and Dumber film didn't tonally sit right. It's a film that'll make you smirk at times, but ultimately it's not great.
