When dysfunctional relationship movies work, they can be so much fun!

This comedy-drama-satire - feeling like a modern-day Abigail's Party - boasts some terrific performances from a fantastic cast which includes the ever-brilliant Shirley Henderson, Alan Tudyk and Rufus Sewell.

The writing is sharp as a pin, and the performances are utterly compelling.

Oh, and Anne Reid drops the C*** bomb!

fluffy britcom aiming for satire - not massively funny and could see a lot of the cogs turning, but enjoyable enough with a few zingers

I thought this was fine, a good one for passing a Sunday afternoon but one that I doubt you’d return to watch again. The acting was fine, I liked the plot line and the acting was adequate. My main thought was that this would be so much more suited to a theatre show (maybe it already is?)- it pretty much all happened in one setting and there was a lot of standing around talking.

It's a good cast but only Rufus Sewell has any energy at all. Really strange movie that's not completely terrible but also kind of terrible.

For some reason, I saw this on the biggest screen of my local two-screen cinema, it didn't exactly need to be on a big screen but I thought it was amusing. Not the film but the fact I saw this in a big room.

The film itself is very confused, yet remains very ambiguous and adventurous. It's very sweary, as I don't think I've ever heard the word "cunt" said as many times in a 15 rated film before, it…

the trouble with five hundred title cards . the trouble with the bbfc card saying “references to suicide” when the whole main plot revolves around a characters suicide and their hanging body is seen on screen . the trouble with killing off ur only charismatic character 10 mins in . the trouble with being better suited to a stage play than a film . the trouble with trying too hard to be funny and unexpected and never once landing . the trouble with being total shite
