This reissue sounds great and the artwork is really nice. Since it's the first time they released this one on vinyl, I can imagine it's difficult to make the cd-artwork larger to fit the large Vinyl-packaging.
Soundwise everything is in order. I am happy to finally own this great record on (double)-lp. The info on the acoustic version of Security of Illusion is not on the release (wich is a pity). This version exists from the days of the 2003-remaster, and I always thought it was the Detours-version, but it's not.
Can anyone clarify when this version was recorded?
Clear recommendation (Vinyl ReIssue) to all who appreciate and love this album! There is really nothing to complain about from my point of view. The gatefold cover, the inner sleeves are lovingly designed and it all feels very good and valuable. The vinyl in great press quality without any blemishes and the playback quality easily stands up to analog comparison to my 1993 version on music cassette (high quality equipment). Really something for the heart of all fans! The eternal flaw of this album is surely the band's decision not to let Michael Sadler sing the vocals on "Days Like These", but well... the love remains. :-)
