About this series
From the creators of The Office and Extras, comes the new HBO comedy series, The Ricky Gervais Show. An animated version of the record breaking podcasting series, the 13-episode half-hour comedy series is voiced by Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, and Karl Pilkington, colleague and friend, whose offbeat musings inspire many of the storylines. Some of the topics covered include: the merits of 20th century inventions; Karl’s suggestion for population control; how philosophy has evolved through the ages; Karl’s round head; and his thoughts on charity. Regular features include “Monkey News” and readings from Karl’s journal.
