Honestly yeah. Arrogant and self-deluded.

Like how can you go around calling your second son your “first child”, when it’s common knowledge you abandoned your actual first child to be a Beatle? Not some hushed up affair baby, but your lawful, legitimate firstborn son by your wife at the time, who is such a known quantity he had a hit Beatles song written about him. The level of arrogance to walk around that self-assured boggles my mind

Also from what I hear, it’s not uncommon to run across Sean around New York, and that he’s also a massive prick

The thing though — the Playboy interview dates from September 1980, just 3 months before Lennon was killed.

He certainly tried to go back and be somewhat involved in Julian’s life, but only after Julian was already a young man. And he vehemently referred to Sean as his “first child”, because he was planned.
