Seinfeld, Bacon Brothers, Hubbard coming to Freeman Arts Pavilion
Air Supply, SOJA and Old Crow Medicine Show also announced
By SELBYVILLE — Comedy and television legend Jerry Seinfeld leads the latest acts to head to Freeman Arts Pavilion this summer.
Mr. Seinfeld, star of his own classic TV show from 1989 to 1998, will perform in Selbyville on July 25. He also has a Netflix film coming out this week in which he stars, directs and writes entitled “Unfrosted” about the history of Pop-Tarts. Tickets, starting at $119, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at FreemanArts.org.
Other acts announced Monday include The Bacon Brothers, with actor Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael on July 21; Tyler Hubbard on July 28; and Air Supply on Aug. 6.
All three are no strangers to the area. The Bacon Brothers have made frequent trips to Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach. Tyler Hubbard, one half of the former country duo Florida Georgia Line, appeared at this past summer’s Delaware State Fair in Harrington. Air Supply played Dover’s Rollins Center in 2016.
Other acts announced Monday are The Super 70s Concert Experience featuring Super Trans Am on June 28; The Disco Biscuits July 11; Voyage: Celebrating the Music of Journey on Aug. 2; SOJA on Aug. 4; Dark Star Orchestra on Aug. 17; Old Crow Medicine Show on Aug. 18; The Broken Hearts: A Tribute to Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers on Aug. 23.
Tickets for Disco Biscuits, Air Supply and Tyler Hubbard will go on sale Friday at noon with the rest of the shows, aside from Mr. Seinfeld, on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. at FreemanArts.org.
Officials say more announcements are on the way.
The outdoor venue — a program of the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation, a fundraising arts nonprofit, will present its 17th season with a mix of dance, theatre, children’s performances and live music.
