      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

The Other Woman definitely boasts a talented pedigree, but all that skill is never fully brought to bear on a story that settles for cheap laughs instead of reaching its empowering potential.

Emma S Great easy watch. Silly and funny. Underrated. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/24 Full Review Cameron C This rom com keeps me entertained and laughing. Good enough for me! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review James E It was a light hearted, fun movie. Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann have great chemistry on screen. I wish Kate upton and most of the rest of the cast were more fleshed out, but it was a good time overall Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Lesterberne T It's a silly movie. It has heart and that's why the score is not lower. It's fun to see the interactions and then when they get payback, it's satisfying. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/15/23 Full Review Michael K Not my kind of movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/21/23 Full Review Ed The only reason I decided to give this movie a chance was because I saw Nicki Minaj in it. All of her 5 minutes on screen we're amazing, but everything else kind of went downhill. It was cool to see the group form and bond over there shared trauma, but after that, the revenging got a little weak. Wasn't very funny, and it lost me as soon as it got into finance near the end. Also, don't even mention the the FART HUMOR SECTION TT. Then there's the hormone section, also questionable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Leonard Maltin leonardmaltin.com I don't demand a great deal from a glossy Hollywood comedy, but it would be nice to find a smarter, more original piece of work than this in the year 2014. May 15, 2014 Full Review Richard Brody New Yorker What begins as a smoothly oiled romantic comedy quickly morphs into a clattery, grinding screwball contrivance. May 5, 2014 Full Review Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald Everything in this movie is overcooked and pushed far beyond its power to amuse. In the end, it becomes a screeching bore. Rated: 2.5/5 May 2, 2014 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies An annoying and inept mess of a movie. Rated: 1/5 Aug 24, 2022 Full Review Mark Jackson Epoch Times A fairly hilarious womance showcasing Leslie Mann, whose comedic forte is wallowing in humiliation. Good stuff. She also plays a mean drunk. It's surprising there wasn't an explosion of movies in the wake of "The Other Woman," featuring her. Rated: 3/5 Apr 11, 2022 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse This is a movie about female bonding rather than female blaming and on that level it scores. The comedy material is often elevated and enhanced by the performer's skill, but the film has its (broken) heart in the right place. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 1, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
