Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes is lots of fun. People seem to be drawn to "extend" the Canon of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, usually with great success. M of S.H. is an example of this success.

Very entertaining...

This is a collection of stories - some funny, some serious - about undertaken by writers who wish they had created the character of Sherlock Holmes but are just as delighted to simply follow in the footsteps of Doctor Watson's great literary agent, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
This book is all right, but the first "Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes" edited by Ellery Queen in 1944, contained the best collection of writers' wending their way up the highways and byways of London to find Baker Street and knock at the door of 221B.
