The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly "ungentlemanly" fighting techniques. Critics Consensus

Cranking up a true story of derring-do into a high-octane action flick that's heavy on spectacle if not suspense, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is another solid entry into Guy Ritchie's pantheon.

Christy Lemire FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) All the swagger you'd want from a Guy Ritchie movie is completely absent here. May 8, 2024 Full Review Nell Minow Movie Mom It is a perfect match of story and director. Guy Ritchie is at his best in high-energy stories of very attractive men with mad fighting skills and no hesitation in using them. Rated: B May 2, 2024 Full Review Mark Feeney Boston Globe “Ministry” offers all kinds of collateral nonsense to pad the main nonsense. Rated: 2/4 Apr 24, 2024 Full Review John Serba Decider The irony here is undeniable: It feels like Ritchie’s playing it safe with a movie about guys who break the rules to get the job done. May 10, 2024 Full Review Nicholas Bell Fish Jelly Films (YouTube) Ritchie goes for glossy in this highly modified, super stylized WWII treatment. Well paced and hyper violent enough to lull us into forgetting underlying horrors. Rated: 3/5 May 9, 2024 Full Review Wade Major FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) Ultimately, it's a movie that doesn't seem to enjoy itself very much. May 8, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Dhruv S This movie is strictly mediocre. All of the style and eccentric cast are not enough to elevate a standard plot and subpar pacing. The action can be entertaining but it can also be akin to a casual stroll in the park. The b plot of the film is utterly useless. By the end its hard not feel underwhelmed. On the positive note it is an easy watch so there is always that. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/17/24 Full Review Bill Entertaining but forgettable Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/16/24 Full Review Austin love and like the movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/16/24 Full Review Sherri Loved it! Moved along at good pace. No long overdone, goes on and on and on fight scenes. And a bit of history, splashes of humor . Loved it! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/16/24 Full Review Grae Never have I laughed so much with killing Nazis! Its goofy but cool at the same time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/16/24 Full Review Anna Absolutely loved this movie! Lots of exciting action sequences followed by witty banter and comical bits. Keep in mind that it's also based on a true story! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/15/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
