The gym at Club Indianapolis is available to all Club members who have a fitness or weight loss goal. Our mission is to provide a unique environment where anyone can feel comfortable, free of judgment. This means that you can get in shape using brand name cardio and strength equipment without being subjected to "I don't fit-in" attitude that exist in many gyms. You belong!

With the co-operation of local agencies, Club Indianapolis is able to serve as a community testing site for STD and HIV, and a place to distribute condoms and valuable safe sex information to both members and non-members. So whether you're gay, bisexual or straight (member or non-member), STEP UP and the MARION COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT provides free testing every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at Club Indianapolis. Club Indianapolis continues to believe in promoting the well being of the gay community through supporting organizations that protect your health and civil rights. Jack Campbell, a founding owner, lead the fight to oppose the anti-gay Save Our Children campaign lead by Anita Bryan in the early 70's; supported the formation of MCC, the Gay Games, and the National Gay Task Force; plus, contributed to the Human Rights building in Washing D.C. Because of you and us working together, positive changes are happening all around us.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS / CLUB POLICIES

I am trying to contact someone I met at The Club but I don't have his phone number or email address. Can I get a message to him via a staff member or this website?

Sorry but for safety and privacy reasons we are unable to relay messages to other members.

Is there a place where I can smoke at The Club?

Most clubs have become smoke free but smoking is permitted outdoors only on the patio.

How old do I have to be to be a member of The Club?

You must be 18 years of age or older with a valid picture ID to become a member of The Club.

What kind of ID should I bring? I do not live in the USA, will my drivers license be enough?

Acceptable forms of ID include any government or military issue photo ID. A regional or international drivers license is acceptable if it is tamper proof and has a photograph. A passport will always work.

Can I visit The Club anonymously?

No. In order to comply with city ordinances for private clubs we cannot allow our customers to purchase memberships without identifying themselves.

What do you do with the personal information I give you when I purchase a membership to The Club? Will I receive anything in the mail?

The Club is highly respectful of member privacy and we understand the need for discretion. The information you give us is for our records only and is never shared with third parties. You will never receive anything in the mail.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes. We accept Cash, Visa, and MasterCard as forms of payment.

How much does it cost to become a member of The Club?

Individual club pricing is available on each club home page by clicking on the pricing menu option.

Does The Club serve alcohol?

No. The Club has a strict Zero Tolerance Policy for possession and use of alcohol or drugs and any illegal activity. You will be denied entry if you are "under the influence". All bags are subject to inspection.

I am a FTM Trangender. Will I be welcome at The Club?

Yes. All Customers must present themselves as male and have current valid identification in order to enter.

If valuables are taken from either my dressing room or locker, will The Clubs reimburse me?

No. The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

I'm a nudist. Will I be welcome at The Club?

Naturally, nudity is permitted in all wet areas and most outdoor pool areas - check with your local club. A towel or sports wear are to be worn in all public areas.

Can I sleep at The Club?

Sleeping is permitted in private dressing rooms only. No sleeping is permitted in public areas as a courtesy to other members.

Can I reserve a dressing room in advance?

No. Dressing room rentals are distributed on a first come first serve basis. We do not reserve dressing rooms in advance.

If I am visiting from out of town can I rent a dressing room for more than the regular time limit? Can I pay for a 24 hour block of time or several rental time blocks at once?

We cannot accept payment in advance for dressing rooms. When you rent a dressing room your rental is good from the time of issue until you have reached the time limit applicable with that rental (time limits vary) or until you leave. We cannot accept payment for any time beyond that. You may renew your rental as many times as you like.

If I leave The Club and return before my dressing room/locker rental expires is the rental still good?

No. Please note that we no longer issue in & out privileges.

Is my membership for The Club in my city valid in another city?

Yes. Our memberships are accepted at all of our facilities.

Does my 6 month or one-time guest membership allow me access to all the facilities of The Club including the gym?

Yes. A 6 month or 1 time guest membership will allow you access to all of The Club's facilities however you must purchase a locker or dressing room rental upon each visit to The Club.

What is the difference between a locker and a dressing room/cubicle?

You cannot walk into a locker and lie down whereas you can with a dressing room.

What is the difference between a deluxe dressing room and a regular dressing room?

As you will see from the pricing pages each club offers members a variety of dressing room options. Generally speaking deluxe rooms are larger with extra amenities which differ from club to club.

Can I share the cost of a dressing room with a friend?

No. Each member must purchase either a dressing room or locker rental upon each visit to The Club.

Do I need to bring my own towels?

No. We are happy to supply you with clean towels.

Will The Club be busy on the day I plan to visit?

It is almost impossible for us to predict member attendance since it relies upon factors that are beyond our control. The best people to ask this question are the desk clerks who work the shifts that cover the time you plan to visit. Feel free to call The Club you plan to visit and ask them.

I am a bit on the heavy side and out of shape. Will I be welcome at The Club?

Absolutely!

What kind of parking facilities can I expect? Will there be enough parking? Is my car safe there?

Most of our locations have adequate, well lit parking facilities. Availability of spaces is dictated by the time you visit us. We do not recommend leaving valuables of any kind in your vehicle. The best way to get a feel for the kind of parking you can expect is to call The Club you are planning to visit and ask.

Can I bring my wife or girlfriend to The Club?

No.

Can I bring my dog to The Club with me?

No. The only species allowed in The Club is human with the exception of officially trained service animals. Also, the Club has a strict policy against allowing members to leave pets in the car during their visit. Regardless of the season.

Can I take a tour of The Club before I join?

Regrettably due to privacy reasons we are no longer able to offer free tours of our facilities to non-members without an appointment. Most of our gyms offer a free trial workout with an appointment.

Does The Club offer franchise agreements?

The Club is a privately held company and at this time we do not offer franchises.

Are you hiring at The Club? Can I send you my resume or apply online?

We are unable to accept employment applications online or answer any employment related questions by email. Please do not send your resume by email. We have plans to implement an online employment application system soon. Until then, if you are interested in working for us please call The Club you want to work at or stop by to fill in an application.

What is The Club's policy concerning camera phones?

Cell phones with built in cameras are treated as any other photographic device use of which is prohibited inside the club.

What is your Refund Policy?

All sales are final, unless the facility is closed due to unforeseen circumstances. You will automatically be notified if this occurs if you provide us with a valid e-mail address or phone number.
