Here's an odd little horror book. A collection of short stories, and I mean REALLY short stories, that manage to paint entire novels in the space of a few pages or in some cases, a paragraph. The authors of these stories amazingly take a small amount of text to convey what other authors can take entire books to get across. The stories are compact, quick to get through and stay with you for a long time. Truly some great writing in this book. Mostly, it's just a fun read but if you're a writer it can also serve as a tool to see how some true artists widdle down complex stories into just a few words without losing anything in the telling. 126 pages with such authors contributing as Edward Gorey, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Ambrose Bierce. Worth a read through at the very least.
