Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), Lara Trump, announced that the GOP will be cracking down on election irregularities in the 2024 election.
She told Eric Bolling on Newsmax, Tuesday night, “We all know 2020 wasn’t on the up and up.”
In order to resecure elections, she noted that the RNC has 100,000 poll workers prepared to “count how many ballots come in and how many ballots come out of every single polling location.”
She also discussed litigation against anyone caught “cheating.”
“We need to make clear: if we catch you cheating — and we’re looking for you out there to cheat — we will prosecute you to the full extent of the law,” she added.
Trump concluded, “We need to ensure that people understand the severity of this, and they are not even tempted by the other side to do something nefarious.”
Election integrity initiatives have been passed in response to America’s continued concerns regarding the events of the 2020 election.
RSBN recently reported that Wisconsin passed two key election integrity initiatives that ban private election funding and bar anyone other than official election workers from hosting elections.
In Pennsylvania, new mail-in ballot requirements have been implemented to ensure that all mail-in ballots are properly dated and handwritten, per RSBN.
Election integrity is now one of the RNC’s main concerns. Their “protect the vote” initiative on their website notes, “We are working in key states to make sure your vote is protected.”
