The Kinks fue una banda inglesa de rock formada por los hermanos Ray y Dave Davies en 1964, a lo largo de su carrera trabajaron con distintos géneros musicales, interpretando desde el R&B, music hall británico, música folclórica y country, durante tres décadas de carrera musical (1964-1996), su discografía oficial consiste de veinticinco álbumes de larga duración, seis álbumes en directo y numerosos álbumes recopilatorios y sencillos.
