E agora temos uma nova trilogia se formando que conta a estória antes e da criação dos Jogos Vorazes e do inicio do presidente Snow. 1º filme que levou Jennifer Lawrence foi ao estrelato mundial. Temos o país divido em 12 distritos mais a capital após a guerra que levou a divisão e como uma forma de relembrar este episódio e a vitória da Capital. Assim todos os anos de cada distrito são escolhidos um casal para participar dos jogos. Katniss (Jennifer) tem uma irmã caçula Primrose que já esta na idade de poder participar dos jogos esta com medo que seja sorteada e isso ocorre e nesse momento Katniss se voluntaria no lugar da sua irmã. Assim ela e Peeta vão representar o distrito 12 e quando são apresentados ao publico envoltos em fogo, ela conhecida como menina do fogo. E quando começam os jogos onde apenas um sobreviverá, mas vendo que audiência esta subindo então um casal poderia ganhar. Os jogos vai se seguindo tendo Cato como o possível vencedor. E lembrando que os jogos não somente a disputa entre os participantes, mas tem armadilhas também. Temos aqui um grande elenco Harrelson, Tucci, Kravitz, Hemsworth, Banks, Bentley,... E o casal Katniss e Peeta vencem o Jogos. Aqui temos uma atuação de Jennifer melhor da série, nas outras vai caindo, pois o conflito interno, faz uma mulher fraca, mas que deve forte e esta crise, não faz sentido para a mulher que ela é ou deveria ser. Boas atuações de Banks, Wes, Tucci. Tem uma boa fotografia e efeitos. Creio que este 1º filme é o melhor dos 4 filmes. Roteiro e enredo bons que faz a introdução de toda a trilogia. Vale apena assistir? Sim vale. Nota: 8

It’s epic on almost every level and the drama is elevated. The pace is really, really, really slow though because we finally get to Katniss starting to compete in the Hunger Games over halfway through the movie already. But this movie gave me some thrills and chills, and I like that.
