    The Flintstones "Curtain Call at Bedrock" Romeo Fred Color Model Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1966). "Love goes toward love as schoolboys from their books but love from love toward school with heavy books." Says Romeo Fred in The Flintstones episode "Curtain Call at Bedrock". For Wilma's charity production, Fred and Barney are somehow cast as Shakespeare's famous star-crossed lovers. Presented is a terrific color model cel for Romeo Fred. In visual arts, a color model cel is a studio document used to help standardize the appearance of a character with respect to color of the character's clothing, props or environment. The document is used by other artist as well as ink and paint as a reference tool to help maintain continuity. Fred stands full figure at 5.5", hand-painted on 12 field acetate and placed over a color card for presentation purposes. Color models are rare and can be hard to find. This is a superb color model not to be missed for fans of the 'Stones! Condition is Very Good.
