Discover the Captivating World of Force of Nature The Dry 2 and The Dry Locations
Before embarking on the cinematic experience, to see Force of Nature The Dry 2 in the cinemas, firstly I watched The Dry.
In The Dry, I embarked on an atmospheric adventure amidst the arid agricultural landscapes of the Wimmera Mallee region of Victoria.
In contrast, in Force of Nature The Dry 2, I was transported to the lush, ancient, rainforests in the Dandenong Ranges. of the Otways, Yarra Valley and LaTrobe Valley in Victoria. The movie was filmed in winter, so I was immersed in a different world of a cold, muddy, and wet winter compared to the first movie, The Dry.
The director, Robert Connolly depicted a world by using location-based filming to capture the essence of the environment as a character.
The locations represent the Giralang Ranges in Jane Harper's Force of Nature. In her book, the ranges are described as muddy ground, cold, towering trees, overgrown bushland, gum trees, dense wall of trees, and swollen river with kookaburras, and chirping and squeaking by invisible birds.
And, I was captivated by the storytelling.
