      Audience Member Britt Eckland is drop-dead gorgeous and it's something of an odd role for Yule Brenner, but this is only a fair-to-middlin' movie. It plods along through most of it and then rushes to a hasty conclusion. Oh, the villain - also played by Brenner in a dual role - kicks the livin' crap out of Miss Eckland in one scene but she's none the worse for wear. Looks like the whole thing was pretty cheaply churned out in Europe and this probably was seen mostly in drive-in's. Skip it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Ever wonder what the James Bond movies would have been like if Yul Brynner was Bond? Well now's your chance! Brenner plays a steely eyed CIA agent investigating his son's skiing accident. As he learns more about the accident/murder, he uncovers a plot to kill him a replace him with a look-alike dirty commie secret agent. That means you get to see Yul in a dual role, which in just about any movie comes off pretty silly. I think Jeremy Irons in "Dead Ringers" is the only serious dual role films that doesn't come off ridiculous (unless you count comedies like "The Parent Trap"). So if you didn't figure it out by now, this is a pretty dumb story and Brenner is woefully miscast as a super spy (although Brenner always seems miscast to me in just about everything outside of "The King and I"). However, the action is decent and the Swiss Alps location is pretty. And speaking of pretty, this was Britt Ekland's second film and she would later go on to be in an actual Bond picture in the underrated "The Man with the Golden Gun."
