steve d You have already seen it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought it was a well done "slasher flick". An inspiration for films such as Scream and I know what you did last summer. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Not very good on any level, from the special effects to the acting. The ending is really goofy too. Sorry, pass on this one and find something else to watch. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member When the Slasher sub-genre of Horror was popular in the early 1980s, there were literally hundreds of cheaply made movies like this. This one features some innovative but dated gore FX; a suitably likeable "Final Girl" heroine played by Laurie Lapinski; a suitable number of red-herring suspects; a genuine surprising sting-in-the-tail identity of the killer; and useless authority figures in the guise of the local police. Nothing too special, nothing I had never seen before, but it was pretty enjoyable nonetheless. The lesson is, don't volunteer to clean up a dormitory the university wants to close over the Christmas break. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Although I like movies that take place at dorms, this one kind of cheats. It's at a dorm, but is focused on a few students clearing out the inventory before it gets demolished. None of the scenes are really in the dorms, but usually in the large kitchen, warehouse rooms or random hallways. The whole movie is like a bland and boring version of Final Exam, which also takes place at some dorms after the school is over, but actually has the dorms themselves. The alternate title is called "Pranks", and actually Final Exam has way more pranks in it as well. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun slasher following all of the tropes of slasher movies of its time. Nothing original at all except for the nonsensical twists. There was some potential here, but sadly this movie just didn't come together. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
