Show Your Commitment to School AttendanceIt’s time to show your commitment to school attendance by joining our education partners at the Columbus Crew for Black & Gold Attendance Spirit Week, May 6 – 10.
The week will be filled with dancing, friendly competitions, goal setting, and dress-up themes to celebrate the CREW as it prepares to host one of the MLS Marquee Matches on May 11, as the Crew takes on FC Cincinnati, highlighting Ohio’s best soccer teams and our continued commitment to attendance.

Chromebook Repairs
For troubleshooting or repairs to Chromebooks, families can call the CCS IT Helpdesk at (614) 365-8425. The Helpdesk will determine if an appointment for a repair is needed, and schedule the appointment at the Kingswood Data Center, located at 1091 King Ave, Columbus, OH 43212. Scheduling an appointment is required due to current COVID safety and health concerns. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins at this time.

Students Hopped Into Good Books During The 2024 Spring Reading Challenge
During spring break, Columbus City Schools students participated in the Hop Into A Good Book! Scholastic LitPro Spring Reading Challenge. The challenge encouraged them to pick up a book during their week off from school. Students rose to the challenge and read a combined 10,227 minutes.

Eastmoor Academy, Ridgeview Middle Crowned Winners of 13th Annual CCS District Poetry Slam
The Columbus City Schools (CCS) District Poetry Slam is an opportunity for poets to perform their poems inside and outside the classroom. On Saturday, April 7th, middle and high school students assembled at Eastmoor Academy for the 13th Annual CCS District Poetry Slam, and in front of them, the live audience reacted to their work.
