General Description[]
Demi Black was an Officer for the Los Santos Police Department, Badge #492. She was also formerly a Detective Sergeant and Shift 2 Supervisor for the Street Crimes Unit, and before that was a Resident at Pillbox Medical Center.
Personality[]
Demi is simply a weird girl who gets stuck in her unconventional worldview. She sometimes does not understand that what makes her happy can be seen as frightening to others. She is known for being very eccentric and easily excited. She is a lover of anything pug related. She can be very independent and tries to keep a level head for those around her.
Sometimes she desires to be surrounded by her friends and family, notably when nothing is working out for her. Her biggest strengths are being extremely organized, writing reports, investigating homicides, and prosecuting court cases. She aims to avoid corruption as a police officer. The only instance in which she would do something questionable at her job is if someone close to her ever needed her help to which she would assist them, no questions asked.
Background Information[]
Demi was born to wealthy parents who sent her to a reformation style boarding school in the Midwest when she was a teenager. The boarding school was notorious for its cruelty. Punishments would come in the form of making children kneel in stress poses to more extreme punishments like being violently tortured by the staff, which sometimes resulted in death. During this time is when she picked up practicing Satanism and used it as a way to cope with the horrors of her new life. She made a deal with the Devil in order to escape - a pact that stayed between the two. Her wish was granted and she successfully fled at 16 years old.
She used the last of her money and fled to San Andreas, taking part in different criminal ventures to feed herself and pay her way through college.
As she grew older, she decided to leave her criminal past behind and focus on her future. She graduated from University of San Andreas, Los Santos (ULSA) with honors. After graduation, she attended medical school and worked as a doctor at Pillbox Medical Center, with a focus on forensic pathology. She eventually moved on to Mount Zonah Medical Center, working as a medical examiner.
As the years went on, she grew frustrated with the amount of cadavers that were brought in and left in cold storage. All the deaths ended without closure for the families that mourned for them. She decided to quit her job as a medical examiner and apply to become a police officer.
As an officer, she has an invested interest in forensic pathology and sometimes her fascination with the macabre makes her coworkers uneasy. She still carries with her the trauma of her childhood and finds comfort in some of the more darker interests she took part in as a teenager, namely she is an observant Satanist and is fascinated with all things occult.

Demi's first big case as a full Detective within the Street Crimes Unit was of the all-female gang, Mortelle. On February 11th, 2022, the police had arrested Cindy Tipton with 12 meth baggies of 98-grouse and an illegal beretta M9, subpoenaed her bank and phone records, and locked down her warehouse. Although Cindy had previously been caught cornering meth near the property, Demi's search warrant for Cindy's warehouse got denied. Hours later, the SCU raided the properties and vehicles of GSF member Dick Chiclets' wife Marie Ortiz, searching for Gods Green Crack weed, but instead found four meth baggies of 98-grouse (the same meth strain Marie's leader, Cindy, had been caught cornering). This seized evidence provided the necessary probable cause for Captain Randy Wrangler, Deputy Louis Bloom, and Demi to raid Cindy's warehouse; however, they soon discovered that the warehouse had been completely cleaned out. This lead to Demi launching an official meth trafficking investigation of Mortelle. On February 25th, 2022, Wrangler's confidential informant sent Corporal Lea Nova photographs of Cindy (in the same Mortelle outfit she had recently robbed a Fleeca Bank in) leaving with class 2 weapons from her Hayes Autos co-worker Tom Ato's warehouse. Nova and Lieutenant Matthew Espinoz raided the warehouse and seized 15 of Mortelle's illegal guns and half a dozen boxes of Cookies weed, but found none of the 98-grouse meth that Demi had been looking for. At the PD meeting, Corporal Sexton Hardcastle revealed to Demi that he had recently caught Chatterbox with 98-grouse. On March 12th, 2022, Nova and Wrangler raided Chatterbox after they caught him with the same strain of meth (9 baggies of 98-grouse) for the third time. Nova, Wrangler, and Captain Tracy Martell also raided Kirk Jerkems as an accomplice to Chatterbox's meth cornering for hitting Sergeant Brian Knight off his bike with a hammer. Wrangler and Martell suspected Cindy of trafficking the 98-grouse meth to Chatterbox. In a sealed court case on April 8th, 2022, Cindy and Tom were convicted of possessions of the illegal warehouse items, but acquitted of weapons trafficking and accomplice to weapons trafficking, respectively. Presiding Judges Arthur MacNee and Reggie Might agreed that the prosecution had failed to prove that Cindy intended to distribute the guns. When 98-grouse vanished without a trace, Demi's meth trafficking case went cold. |

Demi founded A.L.P.H.A. (the Agency of Legal Procedure for Higher Advancement) to teach law classes to her fellow peacekeepers, which now receives mayoral funding. She wanted to name the office building she acquired as the "Dan Faily Memorial Death Center," since this is where Officer Dan Faily shot and killed the serial killer, The Cassette Killer.
