The movies has gaping hole of plot holes, the scene jumps are unreasonable and there was a part in the movie like why was the guy playing the voicemail what made him listen in that point, then how did the investigator got to the museum as a hotspot of the missing people, also the guy just had an Idea of the super natural right away with no investigation of his own, what I must say is it really lack so much stuff for it to be reasonable, I will give the intriguing story of the jack in the box but it has been told with no imagination.

This was honestly the worst horror movie I've ever seen to date, all the actors need to give up acting and the director needs shooting lol, watched it on prime so didn't spend a penny but lord please give me that hour and a half back.

Due to the poor acting and lack of backstory. Regardless of the cost, seemed to be an extremely low budget movie. However…. with this in mind Jack in the box does what it says in the tin… jump scares and the buildup to these scenes make it what it is. A lot of twists and turns which makes the movie quite pleasant especially with the deficit of a polished script.

Lawrence Fowler's fun, freaky take on the 'creepy doll' narrative is definitely worth a watch, but it doesn't do anything extraordinary. It's a nice popcorn film to enjoy on a cold, winter's afternoon, and there's nothing wrong with that.
