Kaley Cuoco Flies From Big Bang Theory To Big Murder-Thriller In The Flight Attendant

Penny made a big impact on Leonard, Sheldon, Howard and Raj’s lives when she first burst into their lives in The Big Bang Theory. Now, Kaley Cuoco makes a blazing return to the screens in her most thrilling project yet, The Flight Attendant.

In this upcoming dark comedy on HBO Max, Cuoco stars as a flight attendant who wakes up after a night with a very handsome man in Bangkok, only to find him very dead in their bed. As she tries to piece together the hazy memories of the night before, she gets embroiled in a disturbing series of events. The biggest problem? She can’t seem to stop lying to the authorities about what she knows.

The eight-episode series is based off a novel of the same name by New York Times best-selling author Chris Bohjalian. Besides starring in the show, Cuoco will also co-produce it alongside Greg Berlanti, who has worked on other creepy series such as You, Riverdale, and Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina. Steve Yockey, Marcie Ulin, Meredith Lavender and Sarah Schechter also serve as executive producers. Suzanne McCormack will be the co-executive producer.

The series also stars Zosia Mamet (Girls, The Boy Downstairs), Rosie Perez (Do the Right Thing, White Men Can’t Jump), Michiel Huisman (The Haunting of Hill House, Game of Thrones), Michelle Gomez (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), T.R. Knight (Grey’s Anatomy), Colin Woodell (The Purge), Merle Dandridge (The Last of Us (Game), The Night Shift), Griffin Matthews (Weeds, co-wrote docu-musical Invisible Thread ) and Nolan Gerard Funk (Glee, Awkward).
