My husband was excited about this aquarium so we stopped to take our kids. The lady was super nice but this is not an aquarium and that should be taken off the sign. All of the tanks have been drained and replaced with stuffed animals. At the end there was an area that probably used to be an area to touch fish. One of these pools was drained, the other had two or three fish that you could not touch because they bite. Spend your money elsewhere....
My boyfriend and I went to the Fish and Wildlife "museum" at Beaver Creek and I can't express in words just how terrible it was. First of all, we got there and experienced THE WORST customer service I've ever seen/had in my life. We walked up to the man who was suppose to sell us tickets and he didn't even acknowledge us. After 30 seconds, I had to say "excuse me sir, we are interested in going to the museum". He finally said okay but continued to do nothing about it. It was very awkward so I asked what was in the museum. He said "stuff". Umm okay..haha. Then he explained to me that he's never been in the museum so he doesn't really know what's in it. After 5 minutes, he charged us $14.00 and told us to walk back to the museum. A man named Josh meet us over there and started rambling off about how bad his day was going, how he ran out of gas this morning and how crabby his co-workers are today. After 5 minutes of rambling, he unlocked the door and said okay go inside...have fun. We went in and I couldn't believe what I saw. There were stuffed animals in glass containers and poor/ horrible taxidermy in cages. It stunk and it was horribly humid and dirty in the building, There were pipes and hazards on the floor. The "aquarium" had 3 fish in it and the water was almost black. It was disgusting. I strongly encourage you guys NOT to go to this "establishment". It is a scam. I asked for my money back very politely but the man (who ignored me earlier) said there is a no refund policy and I am "out of luck". I can't believe how this place is still in business. I'm planning to take further action and reporting them to the DNR. PLEASE spend your money elsewhere!!!!
This is the movie with the exception of the chainsaw. The "guide" followed us around like a stalker. Continued constantly asking my wife where we were staying. Old crabby freak of an old lady wondering the property. The guide conveniently had just stocked the small pond and the fish wouldn't bite, but the large fish pond had many biters! That's because they were the large fish which cost 1.99 per inch not the 99 cent version. We have learned our lesson. We won't be back to that spot for sure! All total 10 minutes of fishing for our 2 kids = 150 bucks. Plus the 6.50 admission fee for 4. We did catch the fish, but that not really the fishing we were expecting. Oh well lesson learned!
The aquarium is small and poorly maintained.
The aquarium were so dirty you could not see what is in the tanks.
We were very disappointed aand will not go back
Complete waste of time and money. It didn't even take 3 minutes to walk through the entire fish and wildlife "museum." Our "tour guide" couldn't answer a single question. Most of the glass cases were empty or not lit up for viewing. The aquarium was 2 concrete indoor ponds with a total of maybe 7 fish. The whole place is falling apart and smelled horribly. We wanted to ask for a refund but couldn't stand being there another minute. There are so many other great attractions in the area...please don't spend your money here. It truly felt like a scam.
Absolutely a joke. Went there with 4 adults and 2 small children. Cashier couldn't figure out how much we had to pay. All of a sudden said 65.00. We had to do the math to correct her, it was 35.00. Walked into this crap hole barn that wasn't heated, and they literally had kids stuffed toys as their "display". 2 live fish was all there was. When confronted about what a joke their "establishment " was, they got very upset. We demanded our money back and had to fight for half an hour.
